The Story Behind Pink Champaigne Laundry Services…
From Necessity to Self-Care: How PinkCLS Was Born✔️✔️
Pink Champaigne Laundry Services was born out of necessity during one of the most challenging times—the COVID-19 pandemic. When laundromats shut their doors, I saw firsthand how many people—especially my neighbors—lost access to a basic but essential service. Many families, professionals, and individuals suddenly had no way to keep up with their laundry, and I knew I had to do something.
The idea for Pink Champaigne Laundry Services (PinkCLS) emerged in July 2020, and by October 2020, I officially opened for business. Less than a year later, in March 2021, I took a leap of faith—I left my corporate job of six years to pursue PinkCLS full-time.
What started as a solution to a temporary crisis quickly revealed a deeper issue: Laundry is a major burden for some, but particularly busy women. As the business grew, I noticed a pattern—most of our clients were women juggling work, families, and endless to-do lists. Their inquiries weren’t just about laundry but about finding relief from an overwhelming routine.
That’s when I realized something important: Self-care isn’t always about spa days or vacations. Sometimes, it’s about the little things—like taking a nap, setting your phone to “Do Not Disturb,” or saying “yes” to help.
♦️The Challenges & The Vision♦️
Starting PinkCLS came with its own set of challenges. I knew I wanted to run my business from home, but setting up the right equipment and making my home-based operation functional took time and research. One of my biggest struggles was building a social media presence—I wasn’t tech-savvy, and promoting my business online felt overwhelming at first. But over time, I learned how to connect with my audience and showcase the value of my services.
During the brainstorming process, I studied similar businesses. Many companies offered pickup and delivery services, which I also wanted to provide—but I wanted to do more. I noticed that most services lacked unique folding techniques that elevated the experience. That’s when I realized that I wanted PinkCLS to be a blend of luxury and affordability.
My goal was simple: Provide high-quality laundry care at an accessible price. As a consumer myself, I know that excellent service doesn’t have to come with an outrageous price tag. Luxury should be about the experience, not just the cost—and that’s what PinkCLS delivers.
Who We Serve & How We Help❣️❣️
🔸PinkCLS is for any and everyone, but mostly working mothers, stay-at-home moms, and busy business owners who don’t have the time—or energy—to keep up with their laundry. Many of our clients book services weekly because it genuinely relieves stress from their lives.
🔸One of my clients, a stay-at-home mom with two sons, books my services once a week and expresses gratitude every time I drop off her freshly washed and folded laundry. Another client, who owns a massage suite, relies on PinkCLS weekly and always compliments the care and precision in how her linens are folded.
🔸These are the moments that remind me why this business is bigger than just laundry—it’s about lifting a burden off people’s shoulders.
